Set in an 1800’s historical schoolhouse. Enjoy the open hearth fire place while dining on fine country fare. Open for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
Mrs. Mitchell's wonderfully warm and inviting dining room welcomes you the minute you step through the door. Beautifully decorated in country antiquities, the open hearth fireplace warms you during the cold winter months.
Mrs. Mitchell's serves Lunch Tuesday through Friday from noon till 2 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. Enjoy the delicious Baked French Onion Soup served with a Crusty Roll and a Pot of Cheddar Cheese or Mrs. Mitchell's Brunswick Stew. There are several entrées to choose from and all are served with home baked Hot Drop Biscuits and Sweet Potato Muffins.
For dinner the menu offers a delicious selection of entrees such as roasted Rack
of Lamb, Breast of chicken stuffed with goat's cheese and mandarin oranges served with a black current sauce.
All entrées are served with Mrs. Mitchell's famous Spoon Bread...a delicacy you mustn't miss.
